Now that I have my own space I feel more willing to sit down and create stuff. Looking around my in-progress/near-completion workplace and knowing I had a hand in its development, makes me want to use my hands more. Learning how to use certain materials and tools helps that process too. But what I didn’t expect was the will to start writing.
I’ve had ideas to write, but a combination of seeing the great constructions and skill of authors and even friends on top of my work has made me stop short of opening up Notepad and outlining my ideas beyond the few sentences I put in my ‘Ideas.txt’. I guess I’ll see what I can make in the longer periods of downtime I have over the course of the year.
